Best free greeting card designer
Pretty much self-explanatory. I was wondering if there are any respectable free greeting card makers on the internet. I've only tried paid ones.

Give a query for greeting card freeware on google, and am sure you can find something. I have downloaded FreeCard, but i still havent used it till now. So, you can give it a try. Heres the link:

You can find other softwares if you search on google or other freeware sites, like www.freewarefiles.com
Do tell us all too, if you find something useful.
I agree with that statement - "Do tell us".

I can't really recommend one, but why don't you try and use Dogwaffle, Free Artweaver, Gimp, Free Serif Draw 4 and other vector software. You can create wonderful cards to any design you want and download all sorts of images to create your own design. I use my own photos and with Gimp put my own lettering on or design. If you look around the net you will find fantastic tutorials to help you get creative. Just divide the card you use into 2 or 4 using you software, depending on the size you want on. I print on A4, this is either split up into two and I get one good card or split into 4 and I get two cards. Then design the image into one of the blocks you have created. Use good stiff card as much as your printer will take. I use 240g minimum and if it photos just ensure its photo paper. Here are the link where you find them.
