Compares files on a CD to files in a HD directory

I need a program that will read files on a CD or DVD and determine which files are not in a target directory on my hard disk.

Try SyncBack - it can work as a scheduled backup OR it can show a preview screen of differences between your "source" and "destination" and then you have the option to get it to copy all or selected (or nil) files for you.
