Loads Slideshows and photos onto my iPod nano 3G

There are lots of programs that will load music onto iPods without having to go through iTunes.  But there are few that will load video, and even fewer that will load photos and slideshows. 

Foola is probably the one that supports the most formats.  but, it requires iTunes to repair or prepare the iPod for use by Foola.  Why have Foola if it doesn't eliminate the need for iTunes?? 

WinAmp does a decent job of loading videos.

But is there a program that will load Photos and Slideshows onto and iPod without needing iTunes??
